| March 19, 2008 | BalSys has been upgraded to release 3.1! Download it from here! |
| December 29, 2006 | BalSys has been upgraded to release 3.0. SVS has greatly expanded the BAL concept, and this release is his best one yet! Click here for the newest version! Changes.txt and Manual.doc are included in the archive. |
| October 1, 2006 | Copy REL, a program to copy relative files, has been upgraded to version 2. This version allows the user to set a different record length than the original file (which could be handy if you need to expand the records for some reason) or even trunctuate records while copying. |
| January 10, 2005 | The Ultimate ROM Map has been upgraded to version 1.2. Also, SVS has made an MPG presentation of BalSys 2.0. It can be found here. Be advised, the MPG is 7.5 megabytes in size. |
| November 28, 2004 | BalSys 2.0 is in Beta testing. New features include 1581 disk drive support (on a real Plus/4 only, since no Plus/4 emulators support the 1581), additional debugging commands, and the main loop routine has been accelerated. SVS's document of changes since 1.2 lists 31 major changes to the program. |
| August 7, 2004 | A separate page with sample BalSys programming has been added to the site. My apologies to SVS and NightBird -- the email with this page was forgotten about and just remembered. I also cleared out old versions of BalSys today. If anyone needs a prior version of the program please email SVS or myself. |
| April 3, 2004 | Direct from SVS:today a surprise for you: a new release from the old SVS.I converted in English language my old prg. Astronomia1, and by the way I improved it as follows:
a) Fixed a few bugs causing Division by zero errors; I hope you appreciate the great quantitiy of calculuses the prg. done, and are patient if it is a bit slow during processing. I've considered to compile it, but I faced problems between Austrospeed and graphic. |
| March 1, 2004 | BAL-SYS has been upgraded to version 0.96Beta. The biggest change is the ability to specify the filename to load, instead of loading only one file per disk. |
| January 25, 2004 | BAL-SYS documentation has been replaced with a Microsoft Word document, to fix the table formatting and include graphics that SVS had originally included. |
| January 4, 2004 | BAL-SYS has been upgraded to version 0.94Beta. SVS has renamed the software because it has extra functions now, that the original BAL machine did not have. Now the BAL-SYStem can access the user port, cassette or disk drives, etc. |

| November 1, 2003 | Software named "Windows Plus/4" is rumored again. Now, SVS has located a fellow Italian who is coding a graphic operating system shell for our beloved 264 machine. Please take a look at the samples of "Xplus4" and message DreamTronic through SVS if you want to show your support. |
| September 27, 2003 | Font Create! was written to design the fonts used in MPS803 Expansion. This program has recently been found and released. You can design your own printer fonts up to 15x7.

| September 15, 2003 | SVS's submission to the 16k Demo Competition (held in Hungary approx 8 days ago) seems to have been lost in the excitement. cbm264.com feels that any and all programming effort should be acknowledged.
Therefore, we offer for download the Nightbird-SVS logo submission as well as SVS's 128 byte submission. The 128 byte submission is unique in that it demonstrates the Plus/4's ability to multitask. :) |
